libsynfig0 software package provides render library and plugins for synfig 2D animation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsynfig0
libsynfig0 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsynfig0 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsynfig0 *
You will get with libsynfig0 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
